Message from the East

Greeting my brethren all.  We have arrived at the final month of our bicentennial year.  We have done a lot of work this year and have had a lot of fun.

I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has made this year a big success.  First I would like to thank the bicentennial committee who has put in numerous hours to see this year through smoothly.  Next my officer line that’s dedication to the lodge ensures a professional execution of events.  I would especially like to thank each and every one of my brothers and there families who helped plan and attended our meetings and events.

This as you all know is my last message from the East and it is a bitter sweet feeling.  I enjoyed working with you all and growing both as a master and a mason.  I value all the time I have spent with you all and although it is time for me to step down, rest assured the lodge is in the most competent hands as the officers of the line progress.

As most of you know as I am leaving the East I will be stepping into the Middle East.  I will miss you all and look forward to returning to sit with you all again, my friends and brothers.  Although my term as master ends this month I want you all to know that I am always ready to assist you in what ever you may need.

Thank you all and God Bless!

Sincerely and Fraternally,

John Vernon Scarcella

Worshipful Master
